Lever Standing Calf Raise

This exercise strengthens your calf muscles using a machine. You stand up and lift your heels against weight to work your lower legs.

Lever Standing Calf Raise demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the machine to fit your height and stand with your feet apart, about as wide as your shoulders.
  2. 2Put your shoulders under the pads and hold the handles to stay steady.
  3. 3Push your heels up as high as you can by stretching your ankles.
  4. 4Stop for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your heels back down.
  5. 5Do this again for the number of times you want.
