Lever Seated Calf Press

This machine exercise works the muscles in your lower legs called calves. You sit on a seat and push a lever with your feet. By lifting your heels up and down, you strengthen your ankles and calves.

How to Perform

  1. 1Move the seat so your shoulders line up with the pad.
  2. 2Put your toes on the bottom of the platform and place your knees under the pad.
  3. 3Hold the handles on the sides of the seat to stay steady.
  4. 4Push the pad by lifting your heels as high as you can.
  5. 5Stop for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your heels back to where you started.
  6. 6Repeat these steps for the number of times you want.
