Lever One Arm Shoulder Press

This machine exercise works your shoulder muscles. You use one arm at a time to build strength on that side. It also helps your upper back and the back of your arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Fix the seat height so you fit well, then sit down with your back resting flat against the pad.
  2. 2Hold the handle with one hand and bend your elbow like the corner of a square.
  3. 3Push the handle up until your arm is straight above your head.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top, then slowly bring the handle back down to where you started.
  5. 5Do this for as many turns as you need, then switch to use your other arm.
