Lever Front Pulldown

This machine exercise builds strong back muscles. You sit down and pull the handles down to your chest to work your muscles.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the seat height. Sit so your knees are tucked under the pads and your feet are flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the handles with your palms facing away from you. Keep your hands a little wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Sit up straight with your chest high and shoulders back. Keep a small curve in your lower back.
  4. 4Use your back muscles to pull the handles down to your chest. Squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the bottom, then slowly let the handles go back up to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
