This exercise uses a machine to build your calf muscles. You stand on a step with your heels hanging off the edge. You lift and lower your heels against the machine's weight. It is a steady and safe movement.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the machine height to fit your body.
  2. 2Stand facing the machine with your toes on the step and your heels in the air.
  3. 3Hold the handles to stay steady.
  4. 4Push down with your toes to lift your heels as high as you can.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the top, then slowly lower your heels back down.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
