Lever Alternate Leg Press

This is a machine exercise that strengthens your legs. It focuses mostly on the front thigh muscles, but also works the back of the thighs and your bottom. You push a foot plate with one leg at a time, which helps you build strength safely.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the seat and foot plate to fit your body comfortably.
  2. 2Sit down with your back flat against the pad and put your feet on the plate.
  3. 3Hold the handles or the sides of the seat to stay steady.
  4. 4Push the plate away with one foot until your leg is almost straight.
  5. 5Stop for a short second, then slowly bend your knee to come back to the start.
  6. 6Do the exact same move with your other leg.
  7. 7Keep switching legs until you finish all your turns.
