Weighted Tricep Dips

This is a hard exercise for your upper body. It mainly works the back of your arms, called the triceps, but it also uses your chest and shoulders. Adding extra weight makes it tougher and takes more strength than doing it with just your body weight.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the edge of a bench or chair and hold the edge right next to your hips.
  2. 2Move your bottom forward off the bench while keeping your legs straight out in front of you.
  3. 3Keep your back close to the bench and keep a small bend in your elbows.
  4. 4Lower your body down by bending your elbows until your upper arms are level with the floor.
  5. 5Push yourself back up to the start by straightening your arms.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you want.
