Weighted Svend Press

The weighted Svend press is a chest workout where you push a weight plate straight forward from your body. This move targets your chest muscles but also uses your shoulders and the back of your arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand up with your feet apart. Hold a weight plate at your chest with both hands.
  2. 2Keep a small bend in your elbows. Make sure your palms face each other.
  3. 3Push the weight plate straight out in front of you until your arms are all the way straight.
  4. 4Stop for a second when your arms are straight. Then, slowly bring the plate back to your chest.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you need.
