Weighted Straight Bar Dip

This exercise is done on two bars that are side-by-side. You add extra weight to your body to make it harder. It mainly builds your chest muscles, but it also works your arms and shoulders.

Weighted Straight Bar Dip demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Hold yourself up between the bars with your arms completely straight.
  2. 2Bend your elbows to lower your body until your upper arms are level with the ground.
  3. 3Stop for a short moment, then push yourself back up until your arms are straight again.
  4. 4Do this as many times as you need to.
