Weighted One Hand Pull Up

This is a very hard exercise for strong athletes. You use one hand to pull yourself up while wearing extra weight. It builds strong muscles in your back and arms.

Weighted One Hand Pull Up demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Grab the bar with one hand using an overhand grip (palm facing away).
  2. 2Hang down so your arm and body are completely straight.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles. Pull yourself up by bending your elbow and using your back muscles.
  4. 4Keep pulling until your chin is higher than the bar.
  5. 5Slowly lower yourself back down to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
