Walking High Knees Lunge

This moving exercise mixes high knee lifts with forward steps. It works your heart and leg muscles, including your thighs and bottom. You do not need any weights to do it. It helps with your heart health, balance, and leg strength.

Walking High Knees Lunge demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet slightly apart.
  2. 2Lift your right knee high to your chest while standing on your left leg.
  3. 3Step forward with your right foot and lower your hips until both knees bend like a square corner.
  4. 4Push off your right foot and lift your left knee high to your chest.
  5. 5Step forward with your left foot and lower down again.
  6. 6Keep switching legs and moving forward while keeping your stomach muscles tight.
  7. 7Do this as many times as you need.
