Twist Hip Lift

This bodyweight exercise works your butt, legs, and side abs. You lift your hips up and twist your lower body from side to side to make your core and hips stronger.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Put your arms down by your sides to help you balance.
  3. 3Squeeze your butt muscles and lift your hips up so your body makes a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.
  4. 4Keep your hips high, then twist your legs to the right, lowering your knees toward the floor.
  5. 5Bring your legs back to the middle and then twist them to the left side.
  6. 6Keep switching sides for as many times as you need to.
