Smith Standing Back Wrist Curl

This exercise uses a Smith machine to build strong forearms. You stand in front of the bar, hold it with your palms facing down, and lift your hands by bending your wrists up.

Smith Standing Back Wrist Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand in front of the Smith machine with your feet apart.
  2. 2Hold the bar with your palms facing down and your hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. 3Stand tall and keep your elbows tight against your sides.
  4. 4Slowly bend your wrists up to lift the bar toward you.
  5. 5Hold the bar at the top for a second, then slowly lower it back down.
  6. 6Repeat this for the number of times you want.
