Smith Sprint Lunge

The Smith sprint lunge is a lower body exercise done on a Smith machine. It works your glutes, thighs, and calves. You do it by placing one foot behind you on the bar and bending your knees to lower down. This movement helps improve your balance and strength.

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the Smith machine bar to the same height as your hips.
  2. 2Stand with your back to the machine and your feet apart.
  3. 3Step back with your right foot and rest the top of it on the bar.
  4. 4Bend your left knee to lower your body down, keeping your back straight.
  5. 5Push down through your left heel to stand back up.
  6. 6Switch legs and do the same steps with your left foot back.
  7. 7Keep switching sides for as many repetitions as you need.
