This exercise uses a sledgehammer. You swing it down toward the ground. It works your tummy muscles, arms, and shoulders. You need to be strong and careful to do it the right way.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart and hold the hammer with two hands.
  2. 2Tighten your tummy muscles and keep your back straight.
  3. 3Swing the hammer down to the ground using your upper body strength.
  4. 4Turn your hips as you swing to help push the hammer down hard.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
