This is a stomach exercise performed while sitting on a bench. It works your abs and the front of your hips. You must lift your legs while keeping them straight, which takes core strength and balance.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a flat bench with your back tall and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold onto the sides of the bench with your hands to stay steady.
  3. 3Keep your legs straight and slowly lift them up until they are level with the ground.
  4. 4Hold still for a moment at the top, then slowly lower your legs back to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for the number of times you want.
