Russian Twist

This is a tummy exercise that works your abs and side muscles. You balance on your bottom, lift your feet up, and turn your upper body from side to side.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the floor. Bend your knees and put your feet flat.
  2. 2Lean back a little bit. Keep your back straight and your tummy muscles tight.
  3. 3Put your hands together near your chest. You can hold a weight if you want to.
  4. 4Lift your feet off the floor so you are balancing on your bottom.
  5. 5Turn your upper body to the right. Move your hands or the weight to your right side.
  6. 6Stop for a second. Then turn your upper body to the left and move your hands to your left side.
  7. 7Keep switching sides until you finish your set.
