Rocky Pull-up Pulldown

This bodyweight exercise strengthens your back, arms, and grip. You hang from a bar and pull your body up, then lower yourself down with control. It requires good upper body strength.

Rocky Pull-up Pulldown demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand in front of a pull-up bar with your feet apart.
  2. 2Reach up and hold the bar with your palms facing away from you, placing your hands wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Hang from the bar so your arms are straight and your body is in a straight line.
  4. 4Use your back muscles to pull yourself up, aiming to bring your chest toward the bar.
  5. 5Stop for a brief moment at the top, then slowly lower yourself back down until your arms are straight.
  6. 6Repeat this movement for the desired number of times.
