Push-up

The push-up is a famous exercise you do using just your body. It strengthens your chest, arms, shoulders, and tummy. To do it, you lower and lift your body with your arms while staying as straight as a board.

How to Perform

  1. 1Get into a plank pose on your hands and toes. Put your hands a little wider than your shoulders and keep your feet touching.
  2. 2Tighten your tummy muscles. Bend your elbows to lower your whole body down. Keep your body straight like a stick.
  3. 3Stop when your chest almost touches the floor. Then, push the ground away to straighten your arms and go back up.
  4. 4Do this as many times as you need to.
