Mountain Climber

Mountain climbers are an exercise where you act like you are running while holding yourself up on your hands and toes. This movement works your heart and strengthens your stomach, shoulders, and arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Start at the top of a push-up position with your hands right under your shoulders and your body in a straight line.
  2. 2Tighten your stomach muscles. Pull your right knee up to your chest, then quickly switch legs to pull your left knee up.
  3. 3Keep switching legs back and forth like you are running in place. Keep your hips down and your stomach tight.
  4. 4Keep moving at a steady speed and breathe normally the whole time.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you need to.
