Lying Leg-hip Raise

This is a tummy exercise you do on the floor using your own body weight. It works your stomach muscles and hips. To do it, you lift your legs and hips up while keeping your tummy tight, then slowly lower them back down.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie flat on your back with your legs straight and your arms resting by your sides.
  2. 2Put your hands under your bottom to help support your back.
  3. 3Tighten your tummy muscles and lift your legs up high toward the ceiling.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top, then slowly lower your legs back to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you want.
