London Bridge

This exercise works the muscles in your upper back. It uses a rope tied to a high spot. You stand with your back to the rope and pull it toward your body. This motion squeezes your shoulder blades together and uses your back, shoulders, and arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Hook the rope to a high anchor point.
  2. 2Stand with your back to the anchor and your feet apart.
  3. 3Hold the rope with your palms facing down.
  4. 4Lean forward a little bit. Keep your back straight and your tummy tight.
  5. 5Pull the rope to your body and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  6. 6Stop for a moment, then slowly let the rope go back to the start.
  7. 7Do this for as many times as you need.
