Kettlebell Swing

The kettlebell swing is a moving exercise that works your bottom, legs, and tummy muscles. You swing a heavy weight between your legs and then up to your shoulders by pushing your hips forward fast.

Kettlebell Swing demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet as wide as your shoulders and point your toes out a little bit.
  2. 2Hold the kettlebell handle with both hands while your arms hang down straight.
  3. 3Bend your knees a little and lean forward by pushing your bottom backward.
  4. 4Swing the weight back between your legs while keeping your back flat and arms straight.
  5. 5Push your hips forward hard to swing the weight up to your shoulder height.
  6. 6Let the weight swing back down between your legs naturally and do it again.
