The kettlebell goblet squat is a leg exercise that strengthens your glutes, thighs, and calves. You hold a kettlebell against your chest while squatting, which helps build muscle and teaches you how to squat correctly.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet as wide as your shoulders and hold a kettlebell tightly against your chest with both hands.
  2. 2Keep your chest high and stomach muscles tight. Lower your body by bending your knees and hips, like you are sitting in a chair.
  3. 3Go down until your thighs are flat like a table, or as low as feels safe for you.
  4. 4Stop for a short second at the bottom.
  5. 5Push down through your heels to stand back up to the start.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
