Kettlebell Advanced Windmill

This is a hard exercise. It works your tummy muscles and your shoulders. You need to be strong and balanced to do it. You hold a kettlebell high over your head and bend at your hips to lower your body.

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet wide apart and point your toes out a little.
  2. 2Hold the kettlebell in your right hand with your arm reaching straight up and your palm facing forward.
  3. 3Turn your left foot slightly to the right and put your weight on your left leg.
  4. 4Bend your left knee. Bend at your hips to lower your body toward the left side.
  5. 5Keep your right arm reaching up and keep your eyes on the kettlebell.
  6. 6As you go down, let your right leg straighten and your right foot turn a little.
  7. 7Lower your body until you feel a stretch in your left leg and your right arm points toward the ground.
  8. 8Stop for a second. Squeeze your tummy muscles and push through your left heel to stand back up.
  9. 9Do this for the number of times you want, then switch to the other side.
