Handstand

The handstand is a move where you hold your body upside down using your hands. It mostly works your arm muscles, but also uses your shoulders and tummy. You need to be strong and have good balance to do it safely.

How to Perform

  1. 1Find a big open space where you have room to move.
  2. 2Put your hands on the floor as wide as your shoulders, with your fingers pointing straight ahead.
  3. 3Kick your legs up toward a wall while using your tummy and shoulders to stay steady.
  4. 4When you are upside down, tighten your arm muscles to hold up your body weight.
  5. 5Stay in the handstand for as long as you can keep your balance.
  6. 6To stop, slowly bring your legs back down to the floor.
  7. 7Do this again for as many times as you want.
