Front Lever Reps

The Front Lever is a tough bodyweight exercise that builds strength in your upper back, stomach muscles, and shoulders. You must keep your body tight and stiff like a board while hanging sideways from a bar.

How to Perform

  1. 1Grab a pull-up bar with your palms facing away from your face.
  2. 2Tighten your stomach muscles and pull your shoulders down away from your ears.
  3. 3Keep your body totally straight and lift your legs and torso together until you are flat like a table.
  4. 4Stay in this flat position for 10 to 20 seconds if possible.
  5. 5Gently lower your body back down to the start.
  6. 6Do this movement again for your chosen number of turns.
