Ez Barbell Seated Curls

The EZ barbell seated curl is an exercise for your biceps. You sit down while doing it, which keeps your body still and makes your arm muscles work harder. The curved bar is more comfortable for your wrists than a straight one.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench with your feet flat on the floor and keep your back straight.
  2. 2Hold the curved bar with both hands, palms facing up, about shoulder-width apart.
  3. 3Let your arms hang down so the bar rests near your legs.
  4. 4Keep your upper arms still against your sides, then breathe out and lift the bar up toward your shoulders.
  5. 5Hold the weight at the top for a second and squeeze your bicep muscles.
  6. 6Breathe in and slowly lower the bar back down to where you started.
  7. 7Repeat this movement for the number of times you want.
