Exercise Ball Hug

This gentle exercise is done on a stability ball. It helps stretch your spine and uses your tummy muscles. It is good for making your back move better and also works your shoulders and chest.

Exercise Ball Hug demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit tall on the ball with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Wrap your hands around the ball and hug it tight to your chest.
  3. 3Tighten your stomach muscles. Slowly lean backward while keeping your back straight and feet on the ground.
  4. 4Keep leaning back until you feel a stretch in your back muscles.
  5. 5Stay in this position for a few seconds, then slowly sit back up.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you want.
