Exercise Ball Dip

This exercise helps make the muscles in the back of your arms (triceps) stronger. It also works your chest and shoulders. Because the ball is wobbly, you must use your tummy muscles and balance to stay steady.

Exercise Ball Dip demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the ball. Put your feet flat on the floor and bend your knees like you are sitting in a chair.
  2. 2Put your hands on the ball right next to your hips. Point your fingers forward.
  3. 3Push down with your hands to lift your bottom off the ball. Straighten your arms.
  4. 4Bend your elbows to lower your body down. Keep your elbows close to your sides.
  5. 5Push back up and repeat for as many times as you need.
