Dumbbell Seated Shoulder Press

This exercise strengthens your shoulder muscles. You sit down and push dumbbells straight up over your head.

Dumbbell Seated Shoulder Press demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench. Hold a dumbbell in each hand and rest them on your legs.
  2. 2Lift the dumbbells up to your shoulders with your palms facing forward.
  3. 3Push the dumbbells straight up until your arms are straight.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top.
  5. 5Slowly lower the dumbbells back down to your shoulders.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need.
