Dumbbell One Arm Reverse Wrist Curl

This exercise makes the top of your lower arm stronger. You rest your arm on your leg and use only your wrist to lift a weight up and down. It helps your arm muscles work longer without getting tired.

Dumbbell One Arm Reverse Wrist Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold a dumbbell in one hand. Turn your hand so your palm faces down.
  3. 3Rest your lower arm on your leg. Let your wrist hang off the edge of your knee.
  4. 4Slowly bend your wrist down to lower the weight toward the floor.
  5. 5Stop for a second at the bottom. Then, slowly lift your hand back up toward you.
  6. 6Do this as many times as needed, then switch to the other hand.
