Dumbbell Lunge With Bicep Curl

This exercise combines stepping forward into a lunge with lifting weights for your arms. It strengthens your leg muscles and arm muscles at the same time.

Dumbbell Lunge With Bicep Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand tall with your feet slightly apart. Hold a weight in each hand with your palms facing forward.
  2. 2Step forward with your right foot and lower your body down. Bend your right knee to make a square corner, and bring your left knee close to the floor without touching it.
  3. 3While you step down, lift the weights up toward your shoulders. Keep your elbows tight against your sides.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the bottom. Then, push off your right heel to stand back up and lower the weights to your sides.
  5. 5Do the same moves again, but step forward with your left foot this time.
  6. 6Keep switching legs until you finish your set.
