Dumbbell Incline One Arm Press

This is a chest exercise done with one arm while lying on a slanted bench. It works the upper chest muscles, shoulders, and the back of the arm. Because you use only one arm at a time, you must focus on staying balanced.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a slanted bench with a dumbbell in one hand, resting it on your leg.
  2. 2Lie back and hold the weight at shoulder height with your palm facing forward.
  3. 3Push the weight up and slightly in until your arm is straight.
  4. 4Stop for a short moment at the top, then slowly lower the weight back to where you started.
  5. 5Finish your repetitions with one arm, then switch to the other arm.
