Dumbbell Incline Curl

This exercise targets your biceps. You sit on a slanted bench to stretch the muscles and keep your shoulders still. It is great for making your biceps bigger and stronger.

Dumbbell Incline Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Adjust the bench to a 45-degree slant and sit down holding a dumbbell in each hand with your palms facing forward.
  2. 2Place your upper arms against the bench and let your elbows hang down so your arms are completely straight.
  3. 3Keep your upper arms still. Breathe out and lift the weights by squeezing your biceps.
  4. 4Keep lifting until your biceps are fully tight and the weights are at the height of your shoulders.
  5. 5Hold this position for a moment and squeeze your biceps hard.
  6. 6Breathe in and slowly lower the weights back down to where you started.
  7. 7Repeat these steps for your chosen number of repetitions.
