Dumbbell Decline Hammer Press

This exercise works the muscles in your lower chest, arms, and shoulders. You do it while lying on a bench that tilts down. You hold the weights so your palms face each other. This position helps your inner chest and is much gentler on your shoulders.

How to Perform

  1. 1Lie down on a slanted bench. Lock your feet under the pads so you stay safe.
  2. 2Hold a weight in each hand. Reach your arms straight up over your chest. Turn your hands so your palms look at each other.
  3. 3Slowly lower the weights down to the sides of your chest. Keep your elbows tucked in a little bit.
  4. 4Push the weights back up until your arms are straight again.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you need.
