Cable Wrist Curl

This exercise builds the muscles in your lower arms. You use a straight bar attached to a cable machine. The goal is to keep your arms still and only move your wrists to curl the weight upward.

How to Perform

  1. 1Hook a straight bar to the bottom cable pulley.
  2. 2Stand in front of the machine with your feet apart.
  3. 3Hold the bar with your palms facing up and your hands shoulder-width apart.
  4. 4Lean your forearms on a bench or pad so your wrists hang off the edge.
  5. 5Keep your arms glued to the bench, breathe out, and curl your wrists up as high as they can go.
  6. 6Stop for a second at the top, then breathe in and slowly lower the bar back down.
  7. 7Do this again for the set number of times.
