Cable Standing Reverse Grip One Arm Overhead Tricep Extension

This exercise works your triceps muscles using a cable machine. You stand with your back to the machine and hold the handle with one hand, palm facing up. Then, you lift your arm high above your head to perform the movement.

Cable Standing Reverse Grip One Arm Overhead Tricep Extension demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your back to the cable machine. Keep your feet as wide as your shoulders.
  2. 2Hold the handle with your palm facing up. Reach your arm straight up over your head. Keep your elbow close to your head.
  3. 3Do not move your upper arm. Bend your elbow to slowly lower the handle behind your head.
  4. 4Wait for a moment at the bottom. Then, straighten your arm back up to where you started.
  5. 5Do this as many times as you need. Then, switch to the other arm.
