Cable Rope Seated Row

This is a strength exercise for your upper back. You do it sitting down on a cable machine using a rope handle. It also works the muscles in your arms.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the machine. Put your feet flat on the pads and bend your knees a little.
  2. 2Hold the rope handles. Your palms should look at each other.
  3. 3Keep your back straight and lean forward just a little. Keep your elbows slightly bent.
  4. 4Pull the ropes toward you. Squeeze the bones in your upper back together.
  5. 5Stop for a second when the ropes are close to you. Then, slowly let the ropes go back to where they started.
  6. 6Do this again for as many times as you need to.
