Cable Palm Rotational Row

This exercise works your upper back, biceps, and forearms using a cable machine. You pull a handle toward your body while turning your palms up. This helps make your back muscles and grip stronger.

Cable Palm Rotational Row demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Put a handle on the cable machine at waist level.
  2. 2Stand in front of the machine with your feet as wide as your shoulders.
  3. 3Hold the handle with your palms facing down.
  4. 4Step back until the cable is tight. Keep your back straight and bend your knees a little.
  5. 5Pull the handle to your body. As you pull, turn your hands so your palms face up.
  6. 6Squeeze your shoulder blades together when the handle is close to you.
  7. 7Slowly let the handle go back to where it started.
  8. 8Do this again for the number of times you want.
