Cable One Arm Straight Back High Row (kneeling)

This exercise works your upper back muscles using a cable machine. It also uses your biceps and shoulders. You do it while on your knees to help focus on your upper back.

Cable One Arm Straight Back High Row (kneeling) demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Put a handle on the cable machine at the level of your waist.
  2. 2Get on your knees facing the machine and hold the handle with one hand.
  3. 3Keep your back flat and tighten your stomach muscles.
  4. 4Pull the handle to your chest and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. 5Stop for a short time when the handle is at your chest.
  6. 6Slowly let the handle go back to where you started.
  7. 7Do this for as many times as you need to.
  8. 8Change to the other arm and do the same thing.
