Cable One Arm Preacher Curl

This exercise works mainly on your bicep muscles. You use a cable machine and a soft pad to support your arm. It is important to move carefully so your muscle stays tight and works hard the whole time.

Cable One Arm Preacher Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the machine so the arm pad is as high as your chest.
  2. 2Stand in front of the machine with your feet apart.
  3. 3Hold the handle with your palm facing up and rest your upper arm flat against the pad.
  4. 4Stand tall and tighten your tummy muscles.
  5. 5Slowly pull the handle up toward your shoulder while keeping your arm pressed against the pad.
  6. 6Stop for a short moment at the top and squeeze your arm muscle.
  7. 7Slowly lower the handle back down to where you started.
  8. 8Do this as many times as you are supposed to.
  9. 9Switch to your other arm and do the same steps.
