Cable Lateral Raise

This exercise works the side muscles of your shoulder. You use a cable machine that pulls on your muscles the whole time you move. This helps make your shoulders look wider and stronger.

Cable Lateral Raise demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand with your feet apart like your shoulders and hold the cable handles with your palms facing down.
  2. 2Keep your arms straight and tighten your stomach muscles.
  3. 3Lift your arms out to the sides until they are level with the floor.
  4. 4Stop for a second at the top, then slowly bring your arms back down to where you started.
  5. 5Do this again for the number of times you want.
