Cable Lat Pulldown Full Range Of Motion

This exercise uses a cable machine to build strong back muscles. It also works your arms and shoulders. You sit down and pull a bar from high up down to your chest. Moving the bar all the way up and down helps your muscles work their best.

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on the machine and tuck your knees firmly under the pads.
  2. 2Hold the bar with your palms facing away from you. Place your hands wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Lean back just a little bit. Puff your chest out and keep a small curve in your lower back.
  4. 4Pull the bar down until it reaches the top of your chest. Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you pull.
  5. 5Stop for one second at the bottom. Then, slowly let the bar go all the way back up to where you started.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you chose.
