Cable Kneeling Triceps Extension

This exercise works the triceps muscles on the back of your arms using a cable machine. You kneel on the floor in front of a high pulley and straighten your arms to target the muscle.

Cable Kneeling Triceps Extension demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Hook a rope handle to the high pulley and kneel on the floor facing the machine.
  2. 2Hold the rope so your palms face each other and place your hands by the sides of your head.
  3. 3Keep your elbows close to your head and hold your upper arms completely still.
  4. 4Use your triceps to straighten your forearms until your arms are fully extended.
  5. 5Stop for a moment, then slowly bend your elbows to return to the starting position.
  6. 6Repeat this movement for your desired number of repetitions.
