Cable Incline Triceps Extension

This exercise works the triceps muscles on the back of your arms using a cable machine. You stand with your back to the machine and push your arms up over your head to strengthen the muscle.

Cable Incline Triceps Extension demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Set the cable pulley to the lowest position.
  2. 2Clip a straight bar attachment onto the cable.
  3. 3Turn your back to the machine and stand with your feet apart.
  4. 4Hold the bar with your palms facing forward and push your arms straight up over your head.
  5. 5Lean forward a little bit, keeping your back flat and your tummy muscles tight.
  6. 6Bend your elbows to lower the bar behind your head, keeping your upper arms right next to your ears.
  7. 7Stop for a moment, then push your arms back up to the starting position.
  8. 8Do this again for the number of times you want.
