Cable High Pulley Overhead Tricep Extension

This exercise uses a cable machine to isolate and strengthen the triceps at the back of your upper arm. By pulling the cable over your head while keeping your elbows still, you focus specifically on building arm muscle.

How to Perform

  1. 1Clip a rope handle to the highest setting on the cable machine and turn your back to it.
  2. 2Hold the rope with both hands and reach your arms straight up toward the ceiling.
  3. 3Keep your elbows locked in place right next to your ears.
  4. 4Bend your elbows to slowly lower the rope behind your head.
  5. 5Stop for a second, then push your hands back up to the starting position.
  6. 6Repeat these steps for your desired number of repetitions.
