Cable Concentration Curl

This exercise uses a cable machine to work just your biceps. You sit down and rest your upper arm against your inner leg to keep it steady. This helps you focus on squeezing the muscle without swinging your body.

Cable Concentration Curl demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the cable handle with your palm facing up. Rest your elbow firmly against the inside of your thigh.
  3. 3Keep your upper arm still. Breathe out and pull the handle up toward your shoulder while squeezing your bicep.
  4. 4Hold for a second at the top. Breathe in and slowly lower the handle back down.
  5. 5Finish all your reps on one arm, then switch to the other side.
