Box Jump Down With One Leg Stabilization

This is a jumping exercise that strengthens your calves and tests your balance. You jump up onto a box and stand still on just one leg. It also works your thigh and bottom muscles.

Box Jump Down With One Leg Stabilization demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand in front of a box with your feet apart.
  2. 2Bend your knees and jump up onto the box. Land gently on one foot, keeping your other foot in the air.
  3. 3Balance on the box with your standing foot. Do not let your other foot touch anything.
  4. 4Stay in this position for a few seconds. Squeeze your calf muscles to stay steady.
  5. 5Slowly step down to the floor to return to where you started.
  6. 6Do the same thing with your other leg.
