How to Perform

  1. 1Sit on a bench with your back straight and keep your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the barbell with your palms facing forward, placing your hands a little wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Bring the barbell to shoulder level, keeping your elbows slightly bent and pointing forward.
  4. 4Push the barbell straight up until your arms are fully straight.
  5. 5Lower the barbell slowly back down to shoulder height and repeat.
